I am of the house Ravenclaw. I put together my school robes in the fall of 2005. I wore them to the Midnight Premier of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire in November 2005. I’m rather sad that I only can wear them once or twice a year!

I thought I would put together a list of where I got all the individual pieces of the outfit for any future reference. Hopefully all these websites are still up and functioning.
Robes I got my robes from this site, and I am extremely pleased with them. When I was at the 2005 GoF premier, I do believe I had some of the nicest robes on. Unfortunately, checking this website now (Oct 31 2006) it may be closed. Bummer.
Wand - I got one of these wands, with the dog motif. However, it’s a bit plain and I’m considering buying a different one. This is a link to a LiveJournal entry where the girl who makes them posted. I really would love to have an Alivans’s wand…
Sweater I got my sweater from Wizard Uniforms. I’m pleased with it. However, it is a bit thin. I have though of knitting my own but it’d be a lot of work.
I bought my tie from Wizard Ties and I love it!
I got my patch at Patch Place and sewed it on myself (scary).

My scarf I made myself. Crazy me, it started a knitting addiction. Never in my life before had I knitted, but now I’m hooked. I have knitted socks and sweaters and scarves. For more of my Ravenclaw scarf click the picture.
I bought my stockings from the local grocery store, my mary jane shoes from payless shoes, and my white shirt from Mervyns, and my skirt from ebay.
I think that’s my whole outfit. I just love it. It’s amazingly comfortable, though if I wore it everyday I’d probably put on pants instead of the stockings.
Legilimens!

How did you decide which house you are in?
Mmm.
Kenneth
@ Kenneth - there are a couple of online quizzes that sort you into houses. I got sorted into Ravenclaw as well. We’re the smart ones, but basically by-standers in the books. Worse, we sometimes play the same role as ‘Red Shirts” on Star Trek.
Well, to tell you the truth, the tests told me Hufflepuff.
But I don’t really like Yellow all that much, and I think I’m more brainy and geeky than I am loyal… so I did Ravenclaw instead.
Hi Wendell… oh I don’t want to be a red shirt! LOL, but you are right about that.
I’ve always had some weird hang up about dressing up, but I’d probably lean towards the griffendor side of things myself. mostly becuase I was a big prankster in school and had an affinity for other pranksters. I’d probably be the friend helping to get the weasley’s out of trouble after helping to get them into trouble in the first place.
Hey Brett… Griffendor is good too. HP is the first time I’ve ever dressed up. LOL. Never done it before. Didn’t even ever really like Halloween, but now I love the chance to wear my robes!
